📋 Description Develop and qualify thermal-hydraulic safety methods for nuclear/advanced energy systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support licensing and reactor safety evaluations. Improve modeling capabilities and automate workflows for repeatable analyses. Document methodologies, assumptions, and validation results for design and licensing. Support method qualification activities and quality assurance practices. 🎯 Requirements Degree in Mechanical, Nuclear, Chemical Engineering or related field. 3+ years in system-level thermal-hydraulic modeling/method development. Experience with numerical methods, closure models, and model optimization. Proficiency with RELAP5-3D, GOTHIC, SAS or equivalent tools. Strong understanding of thermal-fluid behavior in reactor systems. Familiarity with Python or MATLAB for scientific workflows; QA practices (NQA-1). 🎁 Benefits Competitive hourly compensation range of approx. $37–$74 per hour. Remote work flexibility.
