📋 Description Senior Engineer supports verification, validation, and uncertainty quantification for plant-scale Performs system-level steady-state and transient simulations to evaluate model behavior, accuracy Analyzes experimental data from separate-effects and integral test facilities to validate models Defines validation requirements and collaborates with test engineering to align experiments with Develops and maintains documentation covering validation methodologies, model assumptions, results Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams supporting plant design, safety analysis, and licensing 🎯 Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Nuclear, Chemical Engineering or related field with 6+ years of Experience with system-level thermal-hydraulic analysis and code assessment for nuclear systems Proven experience with model validation, including model-to-test comparisons, validation metrics Hands-on experience analyzing experimental thermal-hydraulic data and comparing results to Experience with RELAP5-3D, TRACE, SAS, or equivalent tools. Strong understanding of thermal-fluid behavior, reactor systems, and advanced energy design 🎁 Benefits Competitive hourly compensation: $56–$95 per hour. Fully remote work opportunity.
