📋 Description Senior Engineer to support verification, validation, and uncertainty quantification for plant-scale Perform system-level steady-state and transient simulations to evaluate model behavior, accuracy Analyze experimental data to validate models and address technical gaps. Define validation requirements and collaborate with test engineering teams to align experiments Develop and maintain docs on validation methodologies, model assumptions, results, and uncertainty Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams supporting plant design, safety analysis, and licensing. 🎯 Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Nuclear, Chemical Engineering or related field, with 6+ years of Demonstrated experience with system-level thermal-hydraulic analysis and code assessment for Proven experience with model validation, including model-to-test comparisons, validation metrics Hands-on experience analyzing experimental thermal-hydraulic data and comparing with system-level Experience with RELAP5-3D, TRACE, SAS or similar thermal-hydraulic tools. Strong understanding of thermal-fluid behavior, reactor systems, and energy design considerations. 🎁 Benefits Competitive hourly compensation range of $56–$95 per hour. Fully remote work opportunity.
