📋 Description Lead design, integration, and qualification of fuel handling systems for advanced reactor projects. Coordinate analyses: thermal, seismic, structural, pipe stress, heat transfer, and more. Direct mechanical design for thermal/fluid requirements and interfaces with other disciplines. Apply codes and standards: ASME, ANS, ASTM, IEEE, NFPA, etc. Provide guidance on nuclear/non-nuclear design practices and regulatory requirements. Support project planning and ensure design schedules align with plant delivery milestones. 🎯 Requirements Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 10+ years in mechanical systems design, preferably nuclear or regulated industries. Proven experience with complex mechanical systems, especially fuel handling or similar advanced Experience with nuclear reactors, fuel handling processes, or high-performance environments. Strong understanding of mechanical design, system integration, and qualification processes. Knowledge of ASME Section III and quality standards (ASME NQA-1, ISO 9001). 🎁 Benefits Competitive hourly compensation range of approximately $69–$115 per hour. Remote work flexibility.
