📋 Description Support verification, validation, and uncertainty quantification activities for plant-scale Perform system-level steady-state and transient thermal-hydraulic simulations to evaluate model Analyze and interpret experimental data from separate-effects and integral test facilities to Define validation requirements, identify modeling needs, and collaborate with test engineering Develop and maintain documentation covering validation methodologies, model assumptions, simulation Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams supporting plant design, safety analysis, and licensing 🎯 Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a Demonstrated experience with system-level thermal-hydraulic analysis and code assessment for Proven experience performing model validation activities, including model-to-test comparisons Hands-on experience analyzing experimental thermal-hydraulic data, evaluating uncertainties, and Experience using system analysis tools such as RELAP5-3D, TRACE, SAS, or equivalent Strong understanding of thermal-fluid behavior, reactor systems, and advanced energy system design 🎁 Benefits Competitive hourly compensation range of $56–$95 per hour.
