📋 Description Hybrid role reporting to a Systems Architect Lead multi-attribute trade studies to define next-gen Waymo Driver architecture Develop and analyze architecture for Self-Driving System with safety focus Collaborate across Software, Hardware, Sensing, Compute, Safety, Reliability teams Define key system interfaces and behaviors for cohesive design Present technical recommendations to senior leadership with data/analysis 🎯 Requirements Bachelor’s in Engineering (EE, ME, CS, Aerospace) or related field 5+ years in systems architecture/engineering or complex design Proven ability to lead cross-disciplinary trade studies Strong focus on high availability and safety-critical design Deep understanding of autonomous system components (Sensing, Compute, Software, Networking) Outstanding cross-functional communication and collaboration 🎁 Benefits Salary range posted: $230,000 – $284,000 USD Discretionary annual bonus and equity incentives Generous company benefits program
