Lead Data Engineer

📋 Description Designing and building modern data solutions across the Retail Analytics Data Hub Developing scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, ADF and dbt Cloud Translating business requirements into clear technical specifications, delivery plans and Leading data modelling activity, including Kimball-style fact and dimension design Supporting migration from legacy tooling towards Snowflake-centred data solutions Working within Scrum teams to refine, plan and deliver data engineering work 🎯 Requirements Strong experience in data engineering, including building and operating data pipelines Good understanding of data modelling and dimensional modelling, using Kimball principles Experience with modern data tooling such as Snowflake, ADF, dbt Cloud or equivalent technologies Confidence translating business needs into clear technical delivery plans Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders 🎁 Benefits The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance-related bonus plan and valuable share Generous pension contribution Life assurance Healthcare Plan (permanent employees only) At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years’ service There’s also the option to buy and sell holiday
