📋 Description Define top-level electrical distribution strategy for the robot including grounding, shielding, and Own harness routing strategy across high-DOF joints; develop models for cable life and select Establish company-wide standards for E-CAD workflows, library management, and drawing requirements Serve as technical bridge between EE, MechE, and Manufacturing; lead trade-off analyses for Drive Design for Excellence (DfX) to reduce harness complexity, part count, and assembly time Lead failure analysis and mitigate hidden failure modes using DFMEAs and advanced diagnostics. 🎯 Requirements Subject Matter Expertise in High-Speed Data and High-Power distribution within compact harnesses. Proven routing experience for high-cycle dynamic applications (robotics/aerospace/automotive doors). Advanced E-CAD proficiency (Zuken E3.series, Siemens Capital, SolidWorks Electrical) with database Deep understanding of EMI/EMC mitigation, shielding effectiveness, and thermal derating in bundled Strong communication skills to translate complex trade-offs to executives. Familiarity with IPC-WHMA-620 and related aerospace/automotive quality standards.
