📋 Description Define the technical architecture and roadmap for Wayve’s offline 3D reconstruction system. Lead MVP development to unblock internal use cases and enable platform scale. Establish core interfaces, output representations, and tools for internal customers. Partner with calibration, sensor fusion, perception, data, infrastructure, and validation teams. Set technical standards for reconstruction quality and validation data; drive metrics. Mentor engineers and provide leadership across the 3D reconstruction effort. 🎯 Requirements Deep expertise in SLAM, 3D reconstruction, mapping, or state estimation. Hands-on lidar-based reconstruction, point-cloud registration, and pose estimation. Experience building offline reconstruction/mapping systems handling large sensor data volumes. Strong software engineering in C++, Python, or similar robotics environments. Experience turning research/prototypes into production systems. Ability to define strategy, roadmaps, and milestones in ambiguous spaces; cross-functional 🎁 Benefits Hybrid work policy combining office and remote time.
