Job Description
📋 Description Develop and execute mechanical designs for linear actuation, windows/glazings, or closures, from Release design data and documentation for RFQ, prototype, and production release. Support supplier selection and act as primary contact for exterior component suppliers through DFM Plan and perform component and subsystem testing to validate designs and identify improvements. Provide input into, and support the execution of, system and vehicle level testing as needed. 🎯 Requirements BS mechanical/aerospace engineering or similar (MS preferred) 5+ years of relevant experience Experience taking products from concept to production in lower-volume environments Experience in RV, automotive or aerospace design/engineering, including bonded/opening windows Familiarity with DFM for glazing, sheet metal, molded parts, sealing profiles, CNC machined Solid 3D CAD knowledge (Catia V5 or 3DX Catia; NX or SolidWorks also considered) 🎁 Benefits Equity and competitive salary Healthcare, dental, vision 401k Flexible PTO and holidays Parental leave LightTrip stipend for RV trips and professional development
