📋 Description Be Waymo’s liaison with Japanese safety regulators (MLIT, NPA, TMPD). Collaborate with Policy/Legal teams; align with US Field Safety on safety issues. Focus on issues impacting Waymo operations in Japan. Base in Tokyo; report to Senior Director, Safety (CA). Coordinate cross‑border safety analyses for fleet safety. Regularly engage regulators to support safe autonomous driving. 🎯 Requirements Bachelor of Science in Engineering, CS, or related field 10+ years in automotive or transportation tech Experience with Japan regulatory framework Strong Japanese; ability to present to regulators Collaborative, cross‑team work with JP/US teams 🎁 Benefits Up to 20% travel (domestic & international)
