Senior Android Engineer, Mission Planning

📋 Description Join Waymo Driver Validation team to design the future of transportation. Work on cross-cutting problems spanning mobile apps, cloud backends, and Waymo Driver. Collaborate with product, UX, and other engineering teams to build internal user-facing tools. Hybrid role reporting to an Engineering Manager. 🎯 Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years mobile development experience with modern Android app development. Backend development experience (Java/Kotlin/C++/Go). Experience using AI tools for day-to-day development (Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex, etc).
