📋 Description Lead a top-tier applied ML team focused on AV behavior understanding and evaluation using deep Oversee development of DL/ML models to automate high-volume workflows and assist triaging. Design and build Gen AI LLM/VLM solutions for behavior analysis and anomaly detection. Enhance user feedback analysis with multi-label classifications, sentiment, summarization, root Oversee production and optimization of ML models across Waymo's fleet and simulations. Provide technical direction and align the team's agenda with business objectives. 🎯 Requirements B.S. in CS/Robotics/ML or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years leading engineering teams of 5-15 people. 7+ years hands-on ML project experience and deploying ML products in production. Experience in Foundational Models, VLM, or Deep Learning (preferred). Strong coding in C++ and/or Python. Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face transformers) and ML deployment at 🎁 Benefits Salary range: $238,000 – $302,000 USD.
