Staff Electrical Engineer

📋 Description Own electronic systems from ideation through design, testing, and mass production for Apollo Architect high-level system electronics and PCBAs; select components and drive CAD tools. Lead engineering initiatives as a technical lead; mentor junior/senior engineers. Collaborate with leadership, PM, and cross-functional teams to plan company strategy. Prototype electrical systems rapidly; develop design docs, test plans, and drawings. Design hardware to meet functional safety, including redundancy and diagnostics. 🎯 Requirements 8+ years of electronics development experience; proven electronics product shipping in mass Experience with product lifecycle management and PLM systems (Arena). CAD tools such as Altium or similar; hardware design, prototyping, debugging PCB/PCBAs. Experience with electronics lab tools and simulation (LTSpice, PSpice). Strong communication; able to create detailed build instructions and diagrams. Must be able to travel up to 10% (US & international). 🎁 Benefits Prior robotics/space-constrained systems experience is a plus. Emerging tech exposure (AI accelerators, etc.) is a plus.
