📋 Description Play a critical role in making Waymo's maps useful by building tools and processes to map Own mapping simulation to detect map issues and validate readiness before road tests Own map tooling roadmap, from editing maps to scaling map readiness assessment Collaborate with onboard and offboard teams to set strategic software vision Help scale processes, metrics, and training to execute product vision 🎯 Requirements Deep technical acumen for multi-model systems Proven stakeholder management to align disparate parts of the org “Infrastructure sense,” with experience on critical infrastructure Amazing attention to detail in complex physical spaces Prefer experience with simulation platforms, automated testing, or AV mapping architectures Experience with geospatial data coverage and quality metrics 🎁 Benefits Base salary range: $204,000 — $252,000 USD Eligible for discretionary annual bonus and equity Generous company benefits program
