Head of Procurement

📋 Description \n \n Overall responsibility for Purchasing and Cost Estimating activities across the business. \n Create and implement best-practice purchasing vision, strategy, policies, and processes. \n Ensure purchasing strategies meet price, quality and delivery targets. \n Manage relationships and negotiate with key suppliers at a senior and strategic level. \n Forecast price and market trends to identify changes in buyer-supplier power. \n Prepare the annual Purchasing budget and forecasts; manage the budget from identification to completion. \n \n 🎯 Requirements \n \n 8-10 years of technical and non-technical procurement experience. \n Degree level; Masters preferred in commercial or engineering. \n CIPS fellowship or membership preferred. \n Proven contract management and supplier experience. \n Automotive supply chain knowledge. \n Strong Excel skills. \n
