Platform Engineer - Build & CI

📋 Description Build and maintain CI pipelines in GitHub Actions Instrument the build with CI telemetry and dashboards Define and enforce policies to keep main green (merge queue, PR gating, on-call) Own and maintain the remote build cache infrastructure and invalidation Own the developer environment: local builds and dependencies Maintain the dependency mirroring infrastructure (apt, PyPI) for builds 🎯 Requirements Solid experience with build systems (Bazel preferred; CMake okay) Experience designing CI pipelines at scale with caching Strong understanding of hermetic build environments Debug complex build failures across languages and toolchains Experience with dependency management and tradeoffs Good instincts for developer experience 🎁 Benefits Competitive equity: stock options with upside 30+ paid days off and UK holidays Private healthcare (virtual and in-person) Pension scheme: 8% total contribution Free daily breakfast, lunch, and snacks in-office Real ownership and direct access to leadership
