📋 Description Own the mechanical design and development of subsystem hardware from concept to production Design and fabricate reactors and other continuous process systems Collaborate with automation and controls engineers on integrated system development Lead hands-on testing, hardware iteration, and rapid prototyping Drive manufacturability, part selection, and tolerance for scalable production Conduct engineering analysis including stress, thermal, and DFMEA 🎯 Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related discipline 5+ years of professional experience in hardware design and development Strong proficiency in 3D modeling and CAD tools (Siemens NX, Fusion 360, or equivalent) Demonstrated application of mechanical fundamentals - structural, thermal, and materials - to deliver robust, well-engineered designs Demonstrated experience owning hands-on, end-to-end hardware development efforts (industry projects, FSAE, Design-Build-Fly, rocketry teams, or similar)
