In-Community Supports - Mental Health Specialist II

📋 Description Provide hands-on and/or verbal assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance. Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve. Assist with daily activities (personal care, meals, transport, chores) while fostering independence. Maintain a clean, safe space and help individuals reach their personal goals. Build relationships with individuals served and teammates; provide supervision and positive reinforcement. Attend community activities and work with behavior plans; transport to appointments. 🎯 Requirements 18+ to work in residential adult programs; 21+ for child foster care homes. Minimum 3 years’ experience with challenging physical/verbal aggressions and/or property destruction and/or self-injurious behaviors. Prefer experience with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Experience with Mental Health/Illness is preferred. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record (proof required).
