Product Engineer Sustaining - On site

📋 Description Partner with NPI and cross-functional teams to transition designs to mass production on schedule. Design 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for mechanisms, sheet metal, plastics, and gears. Perform DFMA/DFI/DTC reviews for manufacturability, inspection, and cost targets. Drive cost-reduction via Value Engineering and Design-to-Cost across development. Approve tooling and processes, including First Article Inspection and form/fit checks. Lead root-cause analysis using 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone methods. 🎯 Requirements Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering. 4+ years in consumer/electro-mechanical product development in high-volume manufacturing. Pro/ENGINEER (Creo) preferred; SolidWorks experience also considered. Experience with injection-molded plastic design, tooling, and process parameter optimization. Familiarity with sheet metal design and fabrication; rapid prototyping (3D printing) a plus.
