📋 Description Identify, design, and execute lab experiments with rigor for scale-up. Develop and optimize core synthesis and downstream processing; justify decisions with data. Become the team's subject-matter expert on selected reaction steps and unit operations. Understand our manufacturing process and assist in pilot and demonstration plant design. Maintain a rigorous process-safety mindset, including hazard analysis and thermal considerations. Simplify complex problems 🎯 Requirements B.S., M.S., or PhD in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline 5+ years of professional experience in chemical process development High proficiency with bench-top synthesis methods, laboratory practices Basic analytical chemistry experience (NMR, HPLC, GC-MS, FTIR) Ability to work hands on in laboratory, fabrication, and plant environments Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
