📋 Description Oversees Veterinary Hospital operations to USDA/AZA standards. Leads on-call veterinarians/biologists; schedule and invoicing. Manages departmental inventory of supplies and meds. Manages hospital workflow; triage and initial patient assessments. Coordinates animal transactions, permits, transport, and paperwork. Supports cross-divisional research and staff development. 🎯 Requirements Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in California or eligible to obtain licensure within 24 months. 5+ years in animal/plant husbandry in a public aquarium or zoo. Advanced knowledge of anesthesia, treatment, welfare, and related equipment. Knowledge of AZA/USDA standards and registration methods. Experience with ZIMS, Tracks, Formstack, Google Drive, Google Suite.
