📋 Description Manage and develop a team of Build Reliability Engineers, setting priorities and reviewing work. Drive failure analysis using Fault Tree processes for critical manufacturing and field failures; validate CAPA. Integrate FMEA and predictive modeling into early designs to identify and mitigate risks. Partner with NPI, Supply Chain, and Operations to resolve reliability issues and improve supplier quality. Define and maintain reliability KPIs (MTBF, escapes, first-pass yield) and report progress. Lead 8D-based risk escalation and scale processes for higher-rate Terran R production. 🎯 Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or related field) 8+ years in Build Reliability or Manufacturing Engineering, with 2+ years of direct people management (hiring, coaching, and performance management) in a high-reliability industry Hands-on manufacturing experience with tooling, process, and build constraints Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional programs end-to-end, including defining scope, coordinating across teams, and driving execution without direct authority Strong working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 and core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FAIRs, PFMEA, Control Plans), with experience implementing and ensuring compliance Demonstrated ability to build processes and teams from the ground up, with strong people leadership and the ability to earn trust with engineering and manufacturing partners 🎁 Benefits Competitive salary and equity Generous PTO and sick leave Parental leave Annual learning and development stipend More benefits and perks
