Water Treatment Technician, UPW & Wastewater (Starlink)

📋 Description Operate and monitor UPW systems (RO, EDI, UV, filtration) Manage wastewater treatment incl. pH neutralization, evaporators, and solids handling Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on pumps, valves, sensors, controls Daily water quality sampling and data logging (TOC, metals, conductivity) Respond to alarms and minimize downtime; ensure >99.9% system availability Collaborate with manufacturing, EHS, and engineering on water usage and sustainability 🎯 Requirements High school diploma or equivalency 2+ years hands-on technical experience or an associate’s degree in STEM 3+ years in UPW production and/or industrial wastewater treatment (semiconductor, pharma, or electronics) Strong knowledge of water chemistry, ion exchange, RO/EDI, and wastewater technologies Proficiency with water quality instrumentation and basic PLC troubleshooting Experience with MES/ERP production and inventory software
