Job Description
📋 Description Design and build the Linux-based execution environment for CoreWeave's AI platform. Work across Linux kernel, KVM/QEMU, container runtimes, GPUs, and Kubernetes. Develop secure sandboxed runtimes for GPU workloads. Extend virtualization to support new hardware capabilities and GPU sharing. Build tooling to observe and diagnose the stack end-to-end. Improve startup, isolation, and latency for AI workloads. 🎯 Requirements 5+ years building production systems software, platform infra, or Linux-based distributed systems. Strong Linux systems knowledge: namespaces, cgroups, scheduling, memory, filesystems, networking. Experience with virtualization tech: KVM, QEMU, VFIO, Kata, KubeVirt, gVisor. Experience building/operating Kubernetes platforms and container runtimes at scale. Strong systems programming in Go, Rust, or C/C++.
