Assistant Lighting Technician – Blue Man Group North American Tour

📋 Description Assist with setup, focus, programming, and operation of lighting systems. Support Head of Lighting to ensure cues and looks are consistent. Perform daily checks and maintenance of lighting fixtures and cabling. Troubleshoot and resolve lighting or electrical issues quickly. Maintain show documentation, cue sheets, and follow-up notes. Ensure safe rigging and handling of lighting equipment. 🎯 Requirements Minimum 2–3 years of experience in theatrical or live event lighting. Knowledge of intelligent fixtures, dimming, and power distribution. Familiarity with GrandMA lighting consoles required. Experience with rigging, truss systems, and safe work practices at height. Ability to read and follow lighting plots, circuit schedules, and cue sheets. Touring experience strongly preferred. 🎁 Benefits Full-time touring contract with benefits during active tour periods.
