📋 Description Partner with vendors and engineers to move materials and designs from prototype to high-volume production. Own design and validation of electrode materials, balancing performance and manufacturability. Hands-on design including prototyping, failure analysis, spec-setting, and material evaluation. Develop novel material characterization techniques for QC on high-volume lines. Apply engineering judgment to disposition decisions on materials and electrodes from production. 🎯 Requirements Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years in materials science or related field. 3+ years product development moving materials from R&D to high-volume manufacturing; DFM. DOE experience and interpreting datasets using JMP or Minitab. Experience with FMEA and RCA to track and mitigate risks. Clear verbal and written communication; ability to influence cross-functional teams. Willingness to travel domestically up to 10%. 🎁 Benefits Relocation assistance is available.
