Head of Props – Blue Man Group North American Tour

📋 Description Lead the Props Department to realize the show's creative/technical vision. Oversee construction, repair, and maintenance of props and scenic elements for touring. Manage prop inventory, cue tracks, and documentation; run prop tracks for cues and turnover. Plan and manage all prop load-ins/load-outs; pack, label, and ship props between venues. Collaborate with Production Manager and other heads to adapt prop elements to venues while preserving creative integrity. 🎯 Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Technical Theatre, Stagecraft, or related field. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in prop management, scenic construction, or touring productions. Strong technical knowledge of materials, fabrication techniques, adhesives, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems. Experience with prop maintenance, troubleshooting, and cue track documentation. Skilled in budgeting, vendor management, and departmental forecasting. Must be able to travel domestically for extended periods (Nov 2026–Dec 2026) and maintain eligibility for U.S. employment and travel. 🎁 Benefits Benefits during active tour periods.
