📋 Description Own the backend services for printer identity, connectivity, provisioning, updates, and telemetry. Build the Linux layer for printer bring-up, install, and updates. Own the network between cloud and printers; design protocols, connections, and failure modes. Drive major backend initiatives end-to-end from design to production on real printers. Own reliability; participate in on-call, incident response, and postmortems. Technical leadership and mentorship across backend, infra, and device teams. 🎯 Requirements 8+ years building and operating production backend services end-to-end. Deep Linux fundamentals: processes, filesystems, networking, systemd, boot/init. Strong networking: TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, HTTP, WebSockets, NAT, firewall traversal. OS provisioning and lifecycle: installing, imaging, updating, rolling back Linux. Expert in at least one backend language (Python/Go/TypeScript/C++).
