Roadmap & Prioritization: Translate goals into a focused team roadmap with prioritization. Team Leadership & Development: Coach and grow ML engineers' skills and impact. Technical Execution & Delivery: Oversee design and optimization of retrieval systems. Measurement & Learning: Establish measurement, experimentation, and debugging practices. Recruiting & Growth: Partner with recruiting to attract and hire diverse ML engineers. 🎯 Requirements Experience Leading ML Teams: 2+ years leading ML or recommender-systems teams. Deep ML Expertise: Production ML systems incl. recommender retrieval, embeddings, transformers. Technical Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of retriever systems, embeddings, ranking, and personalization. Strategic Thinking: Develop and communicate a clear technical strategy across complex problems. Impact-Driven Mindset: Focus on scalable, responsible AI delivering business value.
