📋 Description Develop next-gen consumables, including cassettes, from concept to production. Design, build and troubleshoot prototype cassettes, fixtures and test equipment. Test consumables with mass photometry instruments and analyse data to guide design. Translate product requirements into technical specs, verification plans and docs. Collaborate with scientists, engineers, software and operations teams to deliver features. Define and manage critical consumable-to-instrument interfaces for reliable system performance. 🎯 Requirements Self-motivated engineer in a multidisciplinary team Strong mechanical design experience, ideally with consumables like cassettes Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modelling, assemblies and drawings Experience developing products from concept through prototyping, verification and manufacture Strong understanding of injection moulding, DFM, tooling validation, drawings and GD&T Experience designing and delivering jigs and fixtures for development and testing activities 🎁 Benefits Competitive salary package 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Up to 7% employer matched pension Private health insurance, Medicash and life cover YellowNest Nursery Scheme with paid parental leave Hybrid working with flexible start/finish times
