📋 Description Consult customer and read work orders to evaluate tasks Prepare work plans after scoping issues Run diagnostics on diesel engines and interpret results Inspect vehicle systems: suspensions, steering, exhaust Repair or replace transmissions, brakes, engines, and parts Conduct field visits for emergencies or breakdowns 🎯 Requirements At least 4 years diesel/heavy equipment maintenance/repair experience CDL-B required (CDL-A preferred) Advanced knowledge of diesel engines and electrical systems; Hi-rail/hydraulic knowledge preferred In-depth knowledge of diesel engine components and operation Proficiency with mechanical and electrical power tools Proficiency with diesel engine diagnostic software 🎁 Benefits Compensation via Machinist District 9 Health, Vision, Dental, Union Pension Paid vacation (5 days after 1st anniversary) & holidays (9 days/yr) 8.5-hour workdays, 30 minutes unpaid lunch Weekly Pay
