📋 Description Own Layer 1 activation and restoration for carrier circuits and cloud interconnects. Reconcile A-side/Z-side as-builts: circuit IDs, LOAs/CFAs, demarcations. Investigate no-light/low-light/wrong-port/link-flap and error-rate issues. Guide remote hands, CSP ops, and colocation teams through inspections/tests. Verify service acceptance: circuit/port, optics, light levels, speed, handoff. Own tickets and troubleshooting bridges; escalate and prevent premature closure. 🎯 Requirements 3+ years in network operations, carrier activation, or data-center deployment. Trace end-to-end circuit across cross-connects, fiber, patch panels, and optics. Troubleshoot optical faults with inspection tools, power meters, VFL, OLTS/OTDR. Understand single/multi-mode fiber, LC/MPO/MTP connectors, duplex polarity, TX/RX. Experience with carriers, colocation, remote hands, and cloud interconnects. Build automation with scripts and APIs; translate LLM results into actions.
