Position Overview
We are looking for an experiencedOracle Apps DBAto support and administer a mission-criticalOracle E-Business Suite (EBS)environment. The role will be responsible for the availability, performance, security, maintenance, and reliability of Oracle EBS and its underlying Oracle Database infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience withOracle EBS R12/R12.2, Oracle Database, EBS patching and cloning, RMAN, performance tuning, RAC/Data Guard, and preferably experience supporting Oracle environments hosted onOCI.
Experience supporting integrations withOracle Hyperion/EPM, SOA, Fusion, WebCenter, or Vertexwill be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and supportOracle E-Business Suite R12/R12.2environments across Development, Test, UAT and Production.
- Manage the underlyingOracle Databaseenvironments supporting EBS.
- Perform EBS application and databaseinstallation, configuration, patching, upgrades and maintenance.
- Execute EBS online patching usingADOP, along with database/application patching usingOPatch and related Oracle utilities.
- PerformEBS cloning, environment refreshes, database refreshes and configuration activities.
- Manage Oracle EBS application tier components includingApache/OHS, WebLogic, Concurrent Managers, Forms, Reports and application services.
- Monitor application and database health and proactively identify performance and capacity issues.
- Performdatabase performance tuning, including SQL tuning, AWR/ASH analysis, indexing, statistics and resource utilization analysis.
- ManageRMAN backup, restore and recoveryprocesses.
- SupportOracle RAC, ASM and Data Guardenvironments for high availability and disaster recovery.
- Participate in DR planning, DR testing, failover/switchover activities and recovery validation.
- Troubleshoot critical production issues across theEBS application tier, database tier and infrastructure.
- Work with Oracle Support and raise/manageOracle SRswhen required.
- Support security hardening, access controls, database configuration and vulnerability remediation.
- Automate repetitive administration and monitoring activities usingShell/Unix scripting, SQL and PL/SQL.
- Support EBS integrations and technical dependencies withHyperion/EPM, SOA, Fusion, WebCenter and other enterprise applications.
- SupportVertex tax integrationwith Oracle EBS where applicable.
- Participate in application upgrades, migrations and OCI-related infrastructure initiatives.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures and environment diagrams.
- Participate in production support andon-call/after-hours supportas required.
Required Technical Skills
- 7+ years of experience inOracle Database / Oracle Apps DBAroles.
- Strong hands-on experience withOracle E-Business Suite R12/R12.2.
- Strong knowledge ofOracle Database 12c/19cor later.

- EBS Patching – ADOP, ADPATCH, OPatch
- EBS Cloning
- AutoConfig
- Concurrent Managers
- Application Tier administration
- Database refreshes
- RMAN backup/recovery
- Data Pump
- Strong database performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience withAWR, ASH, SQL tuning and database diagnostics.
- Experience withOracle RAC, ASM and Data Guard.
- Strong Linux/Unix administration andShell scripting.
- Experience supporting high-availability and production environments.
- Experience with Oracle EBSFinancials modules such as GL, AP and ARis preferred.
- Experience working withOCIor other cloud infrastructure is highly desirable.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- OracleHyperion/EPMadministration or technical integration experience.
- OracleSOA Suite / WebLogicexperience.
- Oracle Fusion integration experience.
