📋 Description
- Administer, maintain, and optimize production and non-production databases supporting a large-scale
- Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and tune databases across source and target environments.
- Monitor health, availability, capacity, and performance; troubleshoot issues.
- Manage backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery processes.
- Maintain database security controls, including access management and encryption.
- Provision and manage AWS-hosted databases (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, EC2).
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 6+ years as a Database Administrator with data migration experience.
- Strong experience with relational databases: SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Hands-on with AWS databases and services (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, EC2).
- Proficient in SQL and scripting (Python, Shell) for automation and data tasks.
- Experience with backup, recovery, replication, high availability, and DR configurations.
