Senior Director, Analytics and Data Science, Core Product & Growth

📋 Description

• Lead decision scientists and data scientists; coach for expertise and leadership
• Own models/forecasts for MAU growth; drivers of acquisition, activation, engagement, retention
• Lead analytics to identify opportunities to grow user base; translate insights into priorities
• Establish standards for scoping, conducting, reviewing, and documenting analytics work
• Partner with Revenue Analytics and Data Engineering to define metrics and practices
• Build operating model to engage earlier in product/engineering roadmaps

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in analytics/data science; 5+ years in senior people management
• Deep expertise in inferential and causal analytics; lead ML practitioners
• Strong knowledge of engagement, retention, churn, cohort analysis
• Forecasting experience with company-level metrics
• Strong SQL and Python or R; comfort with modern data platforms
• Experience with Databricks, Statsig, Tableau or BI tools, Hex or AI-native analytics
