Senior Data Scientist, Ads Integrity

📋 Description

• Lead ads fraud detection and enforcement within Reddit Safety.
• Partner with Ads Product, Engineering, ML, Operations, Policy, Legal, and Safety data scientists.
• Define measurement standards and turn investigations into durable signals, models, and enforcement
• Own end-to-end detection lifecycle, from backtesting to drift detection and rollback.
• Build ML and GenAI-enabled models to improve fraud detection and investigator efficiency.
• Collaborate to align detection with governance, compliance, and business goals.

🎯 Requirements

• Ph.D. or M.S. in a quantitative field; 4+ years data science with MS or 2+ years with PhD, or
• Production experience building detection/enforcement pipelines with batch/streaming data.
• Strong fraud/abuse detection methods, evaluation, calibration, and thresholding.
• Experience translating analyses into production systems; cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience applying AI/LLMs to threat discovery, signal development, or enforcement systems.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and statistical analysis; ability to work across complex data systems.
