Product Owner (Back Office)

📋 Description

• Own the Backoffice end-to-end: responsibility for functionality, data model, documentation
• Own reconciliation processes: define matching rules, thresholds, break management; monitor quality
• Own settlement and payouts: manage cycles, fees, reserves, netting, FX, and transparency.
• Ensure wallet and ledger integrity: define rules across currencies; monitor money movements
• Drive requirements and roadmap: translate needs into a prioritized backlog; write clear, testable

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in payments/fintech/banking with hands-on ownership of reconciliation, settlement, or
• Strong understanding of payment lifecycle: authorization, capture, refunds, chargebacks
• Knowledge of card schemes and APMs: settlement timing, provider files, fees, disputes.
• Strong accounting and ledger principles: double-entry, wallets, multi-currency, FX.
• Strong SQL skills to investigate production data and root causes of discrepancies.
• Experience with payment data and integrations: CSV/XML/JSON, SFTP, APIs; reconcile data from
