Staff Product Manager, OpenTelemetry

📋 Description

• Fully remote role, with candidates in Germany considered.
• Own end-to-end experience for OpenTelemetry in Grafana Cloud.
• Define vision, strategy, and cross-product roadmap for OpenTelemetry experience.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Design, and GTM to deliver coherent experiences.
• Lead onboarding, configuration, troubleshooting workflows, and telemetry health signals.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in Product Management for developer tools, observability, or data platforms.
• Experience leading multiple engineering teams or product areas without direct authority.
• Strong OpenTelemetry knowledge: SDK instrumentation, OTLP, Collectors, semantic conventions.
• Experience building instrumentation systems or related infrastructure.
• Understanding of deploying software across Kubernetes, VMs, and public cloud.
• Proven ability to turn onboarding/troubleshooting into clear product experiences.
