Senior Data & Analytics Engineer

📋 Description

• Take end-to-end ownership of the data platform and BI layer.
• Design, build, and operate robust ETL/ELT workflows for batch and near-real-time processing.
• Establish data quality, observability, and performance standards across the platform.
• Define data contracts and scalable, cost-optimised architecture.
• Own Power BI semantic models, KPIs, and dataset refresh processes.
• Build customer-facing dashboards and data exports with trusted metrics.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in data/analytics engineering, ideally SaaS/customer-facing BI.
• Experience building scalable data platforms and customer analytics.
• Databricks expertise (Spark/PySpark, Delta Lake).
• Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure data ecosystem experience.
• Advanced Power BI: data modelling, DAX, performance optimization, semantic models.
• Advanced SQL with dimensional modelling (Kimball).
