Consultant- Data Science and Analytics

📋 Description

• Support credit risk management, BI, and analytics solutions via consulting engagements and research
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and create analytical
• Develop predictive risk management and BI solutions for credit cards, auto, mortgage lending
• Conduct descriptive/prescriptive analyses across lending lifecycles using segmentation, scenario
• Extract, manipulate, segment, and analyze large datasets with R, Python, SQL, Hive, Spark across
• Translate analytical findings into clear insights for clients, executives, and stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, applied mathematics, financial mathematics, engineering, OR, or
• At least 6 years of professional analytical experience in financial services or consumer credit
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in R; experience with SQL, Python, Hive, Pig, C/C++, Java or similar is advantageous
• Experience with large datasets and big-data/cloud frameworks (Hadoop or Spark)
• Strong data manipulation, statistical analysis, and modeling techniques
