Data Scientist - Perception Verification and Validation

📋 Description

• Define key performance metrics to measure impact on perception stack and end-to-end system behavior
• Create and maintain datasets to evaluate perception stack and driving performance
• Analyze large-scale metric results to find patterns in perception failure modes
• Present results to leadership
• Design and implement statistical methods to quantify uncertainty in performance metrics

🎯 Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
• Proficient in SQL and/or Spark/Scala; Python for production-quality code
• Basic experience with autonomous driving, safety-critical systems, or CV systems
• Proficient in exploratory data analysis (EDA) and data visualization
• Background in statistical modeling with data-driven decisions tied to business impact
