Senior Product Manager, APIs

📋 Description

• Own API-focused product area end to end: strategy, roadmap, delivery, adoption, and long-term
• Collaborate with Engineering Leads on architecture, technical direction, and design quality.
• Prototype with hands-on experimentation to validate assumptions.
• Design and maintain API products: contracts, versioning, backward compatibility, integrations, and
• Work with payroll, tax, operations, and cross-functional teams to translate complex needs into
• Operate in a fully remote, asynchronous environment with strong documentation.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven Product Manager experience in high-growth, B2B or complex tech platforms.
• Strong technical depth; able to discuss APIs, system design, and trade-offs with engineers.
• Hands-on proficiency with Cursor and/or Claude Code to build and prototype.
• Experience owning API-first products: contracts, versioning, and developer experience.
• Valuable experience in payroll, HR, benefits, fintech or related domains with complex workflows.
• Strategic and tactical judgment with focus on measurable outcomes.
