📋 Description

• Lead the as-is analysis of a ~1,100-table SQL Server estate.
• Mentor engineers and shape technical approach with client teams.
• Collaborate on AI-assisted scanning tooling (Claude) for discovery.
• Hybrid role: 2 days on client site in Glasgow.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong SQL Server skills: schema design, queries, and performance.
• Experience with AWS RDS for SQL Server.
• Proficient in Python and/or PowerShell for tooling.
• Data cataloguing and data lineage experience.
• Understanding of archiving/retention for large datasets.
• Consultancy experience with leading technical work and stakeholders.
