Senior Data Manager/SAS Programmer

📋 Description

• Lead data management for clinical, observational, and epidemiological studies from start-up to
• Design and maintain study databases, data collection instruments, rules, and data transfer
• Perform advanced SAS programming to clean, transform, validate, and manage complex datasets; create
• Develop data quality procedures, reconciliation, and independent QC of datasets and programs.
• Integrate data from multiple sources with documentation for traceability.
• Lead data processing programs and automated workflows for efficiency and scalability.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Health Sciences, or related field with 7+ years in health research
• Advanced SAS programming expertise: DATA/PROC steps, macro programming, data transformation
• Experience managing complex research data in clinical/epidemiological contexts; strong lifecycle
• Strong QC mindset, documentation, and collaboration skills; ability to mentor staff.
• Proficiency with R, Python, SQL, database architecture, Git, APIs; experience with scalable data
• Familiar with NIH CDEs, HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, GCP, and FAIR principles is desirable.
