Lead Forecasting & Financial Analyst

📋 Description

• Lead forecasting modeling to scale Guild's Forecasting and Financial Analytics team.
• Own and improve components of a modular forecasting system and experimentation framework.
• Translate forecasts and uncertainty into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Product, and Tech teams to improve
• Mentor junior team members and foster continuous learning and innovation.
• Produce insights to help internal stakeholders understand forecast drivers and business impact.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in analytics, data science, forecasting, or financial planning & analysis.
• Strong SQL experience; adept at transforming large datasets into reusable formats.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R with time-series and ML forecasting experience.
• Experience operationalizing models (backtesting, validation, monitoring, drift detection
• Ability to write clean, well-documented code and improve existing codebases collaboratively.
• Experience with Looker, Tableau, Omni, or similar visualization tools.
