26-27 School Counselor (High School)

📋 Description

• Coordinate and LEA for district MRT meetings
• Support teachers with in-class guidance and character education
• Provide individual or small group counseling
• Update leadership on student emotional/physical well-being
• Support students with challenging behaviors
• Track attendance data and engage families to improve attendance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and relevant Master's degree for certification
• Florida Teaching Certification or eligibility in Guidance and Counseling Pre-K-12
• At least one year of school counseling experience
• Background check completion (Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse)
• Two or more years of high school counseling or high school teaching experience (highly preferred)
