Job Description
📋 Description
- Curate, create, maintain, and update internal clinical reference materials, including SOPs, quick
- Develop educational and training content that supports onboarding, ongoing development, and
- Deliver virtual, hybrid, or in-person training sessions for genetic counselors, genetic counselor
- Assess training effectiveness, identify knowledge gaps, and recommend retraining, workflow
- Support quality assurance initiatives, including audit readiness, documentation updates, and
- Serve as a clinical subject matter expert on cross-functional initiatives involving workflow
🎯 Requirements
- 8–10+ years of experience working in a clinical genetic testing laboratory environment.
- Master of Science or Master of Arts degree in Genetic Counseling from an ACGC-accredited program or
- Board certification or board eligibility in Genetic Counseling through ABMGG or ABGC.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without restrictions.
- In-depth knowledge of clinical and laboratory genetics and the ability to translate complex
- Strong understanding of regulatory and quality standards relevant to genetic testing laboratories
