Cloud DevOps Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer / Platform Engineer to join a highly cloud-focused engineering environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, event-driven architectures, containers, Terraform, CI/CD, and service mesh technologies.

This role is well suited to a technically strong engineer who enjoys building and improving cloud platforms, automating infrastructure, supporting developer teams, and driving DevOps best practices across a complex AWS environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and platform services.

• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation .

• Implement and manage Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code .

• Work with AWS Lambda and event-driven architectures .

• Support containerized environments using Docker, ECS, and Kubernetes .

• Work with messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Solace .

• Support Service Mesh technologies such as Istio and Kong.

• Develop automation scripts using Python and/or Bash.

• Support monitoring, observability, and traceability using tools such as Dynatrace.

• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and application issues and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on AWS experience, including AWS Lambda.

• Strong Terraform / Infrastructure as Code experience.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.

• Hands-on experience with Docker and ECS; Kubernetes experience preferred.

• Experience with event-driven messaging: Kafka, RabbitMQ, and/or Solace.

• Experience with Service Mesh technologies such as Istio and/or Kong.

• Strong Python and/or Bash scripting skills.

• Experience with Dynatrace or similar observability/traceability tools.

• Strong troubleshooting, automation, and cloud platform engineering skills.

• Experience working as a Cloud DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, or Cloud Engineer.
