Senior Data Scientist / Analyst, Risk

📋 Description

• Investigate and quantify abuse across the funnel, including multi-accounting and fake signups
• Build detection logic that separates genuine users from coordinated behavior using on-chain
• Turn investigations into monitoring with recurring reporting and alerts
• Size financial exposure of each abuse vector to prioritize by cost
• Partner with product on controls at onboarding, verification, and bonus eligibility
• Support compliance with analysis behind investigations, escalations, and regulatory reporting

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in risk, fraud analytics, trust and safety, or similar
• Expert SQL with ability to pursue hypotheses across large datasets
• Pattern recognition to identify coordinated behavior
• Experience building detection rules or models
• Strong judgment on user impact and tradeoffs
• Comfort working with compliance and sensitive findings
